Hatian Earthquake was the worst ever seen in years.

The most powerful earthquake to hit Haiti in a century -- struck shortly before 5 p.m. and was centered about 10 miles (15 kilometers) southwest of Port-au-Prince. It could be felt strongly in eastern Cuba, more than 200 miles away.

Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and has suffered a number of recent disasters, including four hurricanes and storms in 2008 that killed hundreds.

The death toll was rated in the thousands, making it hard to ascertain a true figure. This is the power of earthquakes, one minute you are here and the next you are not, it brings everything to a catastrophic reality, we assume we are safe, but we are not.

The Chilean earthquake 2010

The 2010 Chilean earthquake occurred off the coast of the Maule Region of Chile on February 27, 2010, at 03:34 local time (06:34 UTC), rating a magnitude of 8.8 on the moment magnitude scale and lasting 90 seconds. It was strongly perceived in six Chilean regions (from Valparaíso in the north to Araucanía in the south), that together make up 80% of the country's population. 

The cities experiencing the strongest shaking on the Mercalli intensity scale were Arauco and Coronel, Chile. The earthquake was felt in the capital Santiago at Mercalli intensity scale VII (Very Strong). Tremors were felt in many Argentine cities, including Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza and La Rioja. Tremors were felt as far north as the city of Ica in southern Peru (approx. 1500 mi./2400 km). The earthquake triggered a tsunami which devastated several coastal towns in south-central Chile and damaged the port at Talcahuano. Tsunami warnings were issued in 53 countries, causing minor damage in the San Diego area of California and in the Tōhoku region of Japan, where damage to the fisheries business was estimated at ¥6.26 billion (USD$66.7 million). The earthquake also generated a blackout that affected 93% of the country's population and which went on for several days in some locations. 

President Michelle Bachelet declared a "state of catastrophe" and sent military troops to take control of the most affected areas.

Here are some facts and history involving Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Hurricanes and Tsunami's.Scientists conducted an investigation, in the 1980s. They studied the composition of the ash thrown out by any volcano. They found that the dust contained fine particles of glass, pulverized rock and silicates. This explain why air traffic is at a stand still during a eruption, it is to dangerous to chance. Pilots are accustomed to flying ‘planes in extremely bad weather and can handle poor visibility. But with volcanic ash this is not the only problem. The ash can destroy the most important parts of the ‘plane's engines, when it collides at high speeds, and can have a destructive effect blowing away surfaces inside the engine. These particles can fuse together when entering the engine where there is extremely high heat, causing damage to the electronics and causing the engine to cease. Volcanic eruptions are also accompanied by clouds of hydrochloric acid and sulphuric gas. The suddenly active volcano in Iceland catapults a tremendous amount of steam and dust into the high atmosphere (around 8000 m height). This plume is propagated by the wind towards Western and Central Europe. Given the tiny size of most of these particles and the wind force, they remain in the atmosphere for quite some time and affect the engines of the ‘planes flying through them.

All this many would agree has all occurred because of one person or one being, the messiah, however you look at it the World had changed drastically from that day on. This is the power of believe and faith, check your history, from that day everything changed, for mankind gained extra knowledge, because that key opened the door to transcendal thoughts. The thought that anything the mind can fathom with faith and believe is possible. The Super power of the 20th Century and beyond is indeed the United States of America, that is confirmed by her very presence and actions. It is no coincidence U.S.A is one of the youngest countries on the face of the earth either, as well as most western countries who also are very young. Many believe this country (United States of America) to be the lamb with the two horns in revelations. I believe the truth these days isn't what the society are interested in, they are being seduced by images (television) alot stronger than any idol, inventions that are wonders. After using a wonder, most can't do without it. America has invaded Afghanistan and Iraq without breaking a sweat, the world has no choice, either live the life there way or there is no life. Thats where democracy seems to be heading into complete anarchy. A country blessed by god, is now changing there laws so there law will shift from its religious foundation, in other words it is falling, the people are now corrupt. If America wants the people to believe something, just broadcast it on television (the Image). The bible talk about the image and its right infront of your eyes. So they does what they want, no matter what government is chosen. Is there any hope?
